If you want to to get to know the story of the bars of the city, the story behind them, taste the best local beers and also learn a lot about New Zealand having great fun, he is the man you need ! Darcy is a great storyteller and a cool fellow and his tour is thrilling, original and full of humour. Highly recommended !

I’ve lived in Auckland for 4 1/2 years and I learnt more on this tour than I have the whole time I’ve been here! The selection of bars we went… read more to were awesome and lots of interesting facts were told not only in the bars but whilst transitioning through the city. The selection of beers were local and tasty, and it felt good to be supporting local business too. Although a troubling time for the tourism industry in New Zealand, Darcy was a positive tour guide and really relaxed into the group. We all had a laugh and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent on this tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, with an engaging presentation style. He was easy to understand, kept the group together… read more and stayed on the expected time.
We learned a lot about New Zealand and Auckland, both the history and current state. Highly recommended!
